Personal Data
As part of our application process Tyne North Training will collect and process your personal data. This data will be stored in physical and electronic form at Tyne North Training. Tyne North Training is acting as a Data Controller for your data and our relevant contact details are provided overleaf.

At any point in this collection or processing of your data you have the right to object. You also have the right to ask us to rectify any information which we hold that you believe to be incorrect. If you would like to exercise either of these rights then you can do so by contacting us directly.

If you would like to view a copy of all the data that Tyne North Training holds on you then can make a Subject Access Request by contacting us directly. If you make a Subject Access Request then Tyne North Training will respond to this request within 30 days.

How will my data be used?
In the event that we secure an apprenticeship for the applicant your contact details will be used:

To contact you in the case of any performance issues on the apprenticeship as long as the apprentice remains under the age of 18
On the Commitment Statement between the apprentice, the parent/carer, the employer and Tyne North Training.

These are legal obligations that Tyne North Training has to fulfil with the ESFA for all of our apprenticeship programmes and it is a requirement that we use your data for these purposes.

A copy of the Commitment Statement will be held by both the employer and Tyne North Training.

If the applicant is unsuccessful in our application process; electronic and physical copies of your data will be retained up to the end of our recruitment period in September and will then be destroyed.

If the applicant is successful in our application process, but we are unable to secure them an apprenticeship we will retain the information until the close of recruitment in September of the following year. This will enable us to consider them for any further apprenticeship vacancies that may occur mid-year.

Offer of Employment

In the event of being offered an apprenticeship I understand that this will be dependent upon satisfactory school or other references and upon my passing the minimum examination qualifications required and/or Tyne North Training Ltd.’s initial assessment and interview. Please be aware that in some circumstances an employer may need you to undergo a medical examination. The medical examination may include drug and alcohol screening. Failure of these tests may lead to the withdrawal of any offer of employment.
