In the event that we secure an apprenticeship for the applicant your contact details will be used:
To contact you in the case of any performance issues on the apprenticeship as long as the apprentice remains under the age of 18
On the Commitment Statement between the apprentice, the parent/carer, the employer and Tyne North Training.
These are legal obligations that Tyne North Training has to fulfil with the ESFA for all of our apprenticeship programmes and it is a requirement that we use your data for these purposes.
A copy of the Commitment Statement will be held by both the employer and Tyne North Training.
If the applicant is unsuccessful in our application process; electronic and physical copies of your data will be retained up to the end of our recruitment period in September and will then be destroyed.
If the applicant is successful in our application process, but we are unable to secure them an apprenticeship we will retain the information until the close of recruitment in September of the following year. This will enable us to consider them for any further apprenticeship vacancies that may occur mid-year.
